As part of the “SMARTPORT” Project, the training course “Energy Management for the energy transition” will be held on June 23, 2023. The two sessions of the course will take place at the Order of Engineers of the Province of Taranto, in Via Salinella 9/11, in the morning and in the afternoon. 

The event is co-organized with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Taranto and participation in the course includes the recognition of n. 4 Professional Training Credits (CFP) for each technical session.

This action aims to increase the skills of the Public Administration in reducing energy waste and/or in replacing the use of fossil fuels with renewable energy sources. In doing so, the training course should raise the professional standards of energy managers, improve energy management best practices and promote an environmentally-friendly image in the field.

The SMARTPORT Project aims to improve the energy profile of the southern Adriatic and Ionian ports by introducing eco-sustainable LED lighting systems and adopting new and efficient energy strategies which, following European standards, combine the use of renewable energy sources, energy-saving technologies, energy storage, and smart grid.

The event will be free and open to the public and to the engineers of the territory wishing to participate.
